For some car parks, the owner requires certain verifications.
Which documents are required?
There are 2 possible types of verification:
- Identity verification (national ID card, passport, driver's license, residence permit)
- Vehicle registration verification (the French "carte grise"), also called the vehicle registration certificate
How do I submit the required documents?
Go to this page of your customer account. If you have at least 1 subscription in a car park that requires verification, you'll see a screen like this:
You can add your documents from a computer or a smartphone.
Make sure your documents aren't blurry and are properly framed.
How long does verification take?
It generally takes about ten minutes.
We'll let you know the result by email.
If verification fails, you can submit a document again.
We're still here if you need us, so feel free to contact us.
What rules determine whether a document is valid?
- For the ID document: the document must be valid, and the first and last name must match the ones entered in your profile
- For the vehicle registration certificate: the document must be valid (the first and last name may differ from the ones on the ID document).
- If you only have a temporary registration certificate, the document won't be accepted. Contact us directly so we can approve it.
I received an email saying my documents were invalid. What could be the reason?
Here are the most common reasons:
- The first or last name entered in your profile doesn't match your ID. You'll need to update it here and submit your documents again.
- Some parts of your document aren't legible: the document must be complete and lying flat
If you think none of these reasons apply to you, contact us and we'll explain the exact reason.
Can I access the car park if my documents haven't been approved?
If the car park requires document verification, you won't be able to open the entrances with the Yespark app until your documents have been verified.
Is this upload secure?
Yes, because the documents are collected and analyzed by IdNow. Yespark does not collect or store any identity documents.
